“Thematically Connected, Locally Informed” Creative Brain Week Satellites bring knowledge and nuance to the Dublin recipe. In 2024, supported by Atlantic Institute, led by collaborating Atlantic Fellows, mentored by our core team, four events show Brain Health growing from the interaction of arts and science and the abundant assets of place.

India’s rich cultural diversity is its foundational equitable resource. In its fast growing economy, this cultural heritage will provide a grounding point for people’s physical, mental, spiritual and brain health.

Botswana

  • May 4th Riverwalk to Tlokweng
  • May 6th/7th Schools visits
  • May 8th Symposium and Celebration at University Botswana

Will raise awareness and educate  in ways that are relevant and sustainable. Responding to local needs by defining what Brain Health messaging is relevant and needed in Botswana, engaging wider communities in this knowledge through appropriate methods, with a particular focus on rural communities, and bringing all together in celebration.

A salon series, connects neuroscientists, educationalists, health policymakers, innovators, artists and arts organisations so they might recognise themselves as a thriving creative brain community in Brisbane.

Egypt

March 4th – 8th inclusive.

This satellite is now over.  It aimed to help people in Africa, the Middle East and Mediterranean to highlight their work – a bridge bringing creative ideas and innovative strategy to high level policy makers, introducing the concept of “Brain Health” to the public.
